San Miguel de Salinas is a town located in the south of the province of Alicante, in the region of Vega Baja del Segura. Located between Torrevieja and Murcia, San Miguel de Salinas is the highest town in the region.

San Miguel is known locally as “The Balcony of the Costa Blanca” due to the beautiful surrounding countryside including citrus and almond groves and the national park of Sierra Escalona right on your doorstep. You can walk and cycle for miles along the canal which runs right next to the town.

San Miguel has all the amenities you would expect in a small town – supermarkets, shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, were you can sit and watch the world go by whilst having a drink and tapas. You also have the 24-hour Centro de Salud (Doctors /Health Centre) and pharmacy.

The weekly street market is held every Wednesday where you can also obtain your fresh produce, household goods, clothing, pet food and everything else you may need.
