Lo Marabú is a mature residential area situated in a privileged and quiet area close to the Laguna de La Mata Natural Park and only five kilometers from the golden sandy beaches on the Costa Blanca South.

In the area you are spoilt for choice with cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, pharmacy, vets and more. On the other side of the area, you have Quesada Go-Karts which makes for a fun time, including a bouncy castle play area for children and restaurant open to the public if you only wish to grab a drink or have a meal.

You can fly into either Alicante Airport, LÁltet (50.9km) or Corvera Murcia International Airport (74km) both easily reached by car via the AP-7 and RM-19 to Lo Marabú.

Lo Marabú neighbours Doña Pepa and both are ideally located for all amenities and supermarkets such as Consum, Jumerca GAMA, Aldi etc. Ciudad Quesada town centre is only a 12-minute easy walk (1.0km) from Lo Marabú.

In Ciudad Quesada itself you will find international supermarkets, over 100 cafes, bars, restaurants, many different banks, beauty salons, shops, mechanics, opticians, pharmacy, medical centre, tennis courts, crazy golf, bowling and so much more.  

Quesada even boasts its very own Aqua Park, Water Theme Park, open all summer and great fun for all the family.

If you are a golf enthusiast, there is the La Marquesa Golf Club only 10 minutes’ drive away and then a little further La Finca Golf.  Other Golf Clubs within an easy 20-minute drive are Campo de Golf Villamartin, Real Club de Golf Campoamor, Las Ramblas Golf de Campoamor, Lo Romero Golf and Las Colinas Golf and Country Club.

The nearest sandy beaches are at Guardamar del Segura, La Mata and Torrevieja as all easily accessed within 10-minutes’ drive. All come with excellent first-class amenities and promenades filled with cafes, restaurants, and bars.

Torrevieja is a large Town with many fantastic beaches to choose from with boat trips and many water sports available in the summer months, large market, as well as the vibrant nightlife.  10 minutes from the Town is the Aquopolis Torrevella, Theme Water Park of Torrevieja.

If you like the outdoor life, it may be of interest to know that the Alicante province is the second most mountainous in Spain which means forests treks, mountain trails, hillwalking, camping, and mountain biking are all very popular hobbies here.

Ciudad Quesada is served by Rojales Primary (CEIP Miguel Hernández) and High Schools (IES La Encanta) both of which are state run. In addition, there is a private Norwegian School (Den Norske Skolen) and a newly opened private English school (Willow International Academy).

Not only can you access the medical centre in Lo Marabú, but you also have the additional 24-hour emergency service covered by the Rojales medical centre.

The local hospital is Torrevieja University Hospital. Granted University Hospital status and recognised, by way of its gold award status by the Joint International Committee in 2017, as one of the best hospitals in the world.

Torrevieja is also home to a private hospital, Quirón.
