Benijofar is a lovely village with a charming church and village square. There is the casa de cultura for concerts and shows, a marked walking trail which includes the Rio Segura and an outdoor swimming pool at the municipal sports center which also has a pediment track, an indoor football pitch, two tennis courts, a basketball court, a football field with artificial grass, changing rooms and a cafe.
As well as two parks and the famous three crosses viewpoint, Benijofar has a good selection of tapas bars, cafes, bars and restaurants, pharmacy, vets etc., as does the neighbouring commercial centre of Benimar.
The outer limits of the town connect to several breath-taking walking routes. Notably, both the Torrevieja Natural Park and the coast are both around 10 km away – estimated journey of approximately 30 minutes by bicycle.
